Why the Blog

Hayley at Large was created as my passion project, having been an avid blog follower but never a blogger myself for the past 10+ years.

I initially struggled to pick a distinct topic for blogging, thinking to myself, “Hey, you’re pretty good at a wide variety of things, but not really an expert, per se, in any of them.” In fact, this entire site sat dormant for 6 months after I activated the subscription on an eager nighttime whim.

But after some thought, I figured that potpourri of random life skills is a skill domain of its own that I want to share with the world.

About Me

Hi, I’m Hayley. This is my first personal blog and I work a full-time job in project management for the real estate industry. I’m a Los Angeles native who transplanted to Atlanta, bouncing around a few other West Coast cities along the way.

I’m a dog mom to two energetic pups, 90s kid, and picky gourmet eater. I wholeheartedly endorse technology but also think some things are just done better the old-fashioned way.
